↘ Public Infrastructure Park Qualis Property Services

There’s something pretty rewarding about designing a public park that is simply there for people to enjoy. This Brisbane public park and playscape project was designed for Qualis Property Services, a company providing playscape construction, landscape and property services across public and community environments. The design focused on creating a space that feels welcoming, practical and genuinely connected to its surroundings — somewhere kids can play, families can spend time together, dogs can run around and the wider community can enjoy the outdoors. Natural timber structures, generous shade, subtropical planting and a relaxed Brisbane park setting help the playscape sit comfortably within the landscape, while durable materials and practical detailing make it suitable for everyday public use. Public parks are a completely different design challenge to residential or commercial work. You’re designing for everyone — different ages, different abilities and countless ways a space might be used over its lifetime. It’s pretty cool seeing design contribute to places that become part of people’s everyday lives and the character of a local community.
