↘ Residential Acreage Tambourine

Set within the lush landscape of Tamborine, this home is a bold fusion of Balinese resort living and the Australian bush — designed to feel immersive, private and completely connected to its surroundings. Deep roof overhangs, exposed rafter tails, natural stone, rich timber screening and layered pavilion-style forms give the home a distinctly tropical character, while dense landscaping softens the built form and creates the feeling of arriving at a secluded resort. The entry gatehouse establishes a strong sense of arrival, with the home gradually revealing itself beyond rather than presenting everything at once. Warm timber tones are balanced against dark roofing, textured stonework and lush subtropical planting, with integrated landscape lighting extending the experience into the evening. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Tamborine, the design brings together two very different influences — the raw Australian landscape and the calm, tropical atmosphere of Bali. The result is relaxed, dramatic and unapologetically resort-inspired — a home centred around privacy, nature and the feeling of being on holiday without ever leaving home.
